Spear Study Club

In 2013 Dr. Jay Laudenbach founded the very first Spear Study Club in center city Philadelphia to enhance collaborative interdisciplinary comprehensive dental care with referring colleagues. Since 2013 over 60 clinicians have participated in these meetings with Dr. Laudenbach and we have seen firsthand dramatic growth in the personal and professional satisfaction in the care they provide to their patients.

At this time we are developing a second Spear Study Club. This Spear Study Club will start with Spear foundational concepts and that will guide clinicians to diagnose and recommend comprehensive care in a way that drives patient case acceptance. Our Spear Study Clubs meet approximately 8 times per year with a small group of 8-12 like minded peers in a setting that encourages guided learning, interaction and interdisciplinary camaraderie. Meetings run approximately 2-3 hours and members are expected to attend as many sessions as possible in order to maintain continuity in the group.

On several occasions members from the study clubs have attended a variety of seminars and hands-on workshops at the Spear campus in Scottsdale, Arizona. These meetings provide an immersive experience and broaden the scope of their learning. These on-site learning opportunities have been transformational for members in our groups.
