Message from Dr. Kenneth W. Laudenbach

January 18, 2021

Dear Friends,

It is with mixed emotions that I take this opportunity to officially announce my retirement from the practice of dentistry. I look back fondly on fifty-one years of dental health care in Philadelphia with many of you, the preceding 4 years of general practice in Ohio, and my service as a U.S. Army Captain dentist in Maryland. During my years of practice in Philadelphia I also had the honor to mentor many students and the opportunity to learn and grow with my professional colleagues at Penn Dental Medicine for over 30 years.

I am fortunate to have developed such personal and wonderful relationships with each of you over so many years while sharing family news, events and happy times. I am sincerely thankful to my patients, friends, team members, and my family for their support, guidance, and love throughout the years. I’d like to express my gratitude to each of you personally for your role in my legacy.

The good news for you is that our practice continues to excel in providing the best patient care in the Philadelphia region. My son, Dr. Jay Laudenbach, whom many of you know, has been working with me for over eighteen years, taking good care of you, your friends, and your family. Dr. Jay has managed the practice for many years and is responsible for the beautiful office renovations, the integration of cutting edge technology, and the development of our professional and experienced team. I assure you that you will continue to receive the highest level of dental care at Laudenbach Periodontics & Dental Implants and that our long-standing team remains to ensure continuity in your care and relationship with the practice.

Furthermore, Dr. Jay and I feel very fortunate that Dr. Robert Slauch, a superbly trained prosthodontist, joined our team last year. He has an extensive background in implant and restorative dentistry, is a top talent, a great people person, and is uniquely qualified to take over for me in your care. I encourage you to review Dr. Slauch’s bio on our website and to make an appointment at your convenience to meet him in person.
In closing, please stay healthy and safe. I will miss you all, but am confident that you will be well taken care of and that your expectations will be exceeded at Laudenbach Periodontics & Dental Implants.

Sincerely,

Kenneth W. Laudenbach, DDS
