What to Expect
Your initial appointment will consist of an introduction to our office, our staff and of course the doctor. Your consultation will include a review of your medical and dental history, an evaluation of your dental needs, followed by a discussion of treatment options to address your needs and concerns. Ample time is scheduled to allow for dialogue about your options for treatment, the timing of procedures, and any other concerns you may have. Please bring with you any records from previous dental visits such as x-rays or relevant blood work within the last 5 years. Records taken at the first visit can include digital x-rays, study models, photos, and blood pressure. A re-consultation appointment may be scheduled so that all factors can be examined and discussed in an orderly manner. At the re-consultation a clear diagnosis, plan of treatment, length of treatment, financial options, etc. will be discussed to assure a fit with your needs and desires. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern (i.e. need for pre-medication, diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, joints, implants, rheumatic fever, etc.)
